Caballo Lagoon

It is located at the base of the Caballo hill; on a glacial plateau that appears between the Tajos Altos mountain range (to the West), and the Machos peak (to the East). A few metres from it there is a small mountain refuge.

Location

It is located at the head of the Lanjarón river, on its right bank. At about 2,850 metres above sea level and at the foot of the peak of the same name.

Season of use

During the thaw season, preferably in summer.
