Bolaños Lagoon

Below the Tajos Altos a small plateau is formed, which then becomes a steep slope towards the river valley. This is a high mountain landscape in which the geomorphological component dominates, with morainic deposits, areas of scree, and small glacial cirques, today lagoons. But it also has the typical vegetation of the endorheic basins of the high mountains, with the so-called borreguiles.

Location

We are in the north of the municipal area, just below the Cuerda de los Tajos Altos, even higher than Cerro del Caballo.
