Cuadrada Lagoon

This is an environment shaped by glacial action, where it has excavated a small basin that has given rise to the lagoon. Therefore, morainic deposits, small glacial cirques and scree can be seen.
Location
It is located at the head of the Lanjarón River, on its right bank, at about 2,842 metres above sea level and under the ridge of the Tajos Altos.
Season of use
During the thaw season, preferably in summer.
Noteworthy values
Mainly geomorphological and related to the interpretation of the glacial landscape. In addition to the values typical of high mountains, with the presence of specific fauna and flora, among which we can highlight a large number of endemic species of the high mountains, and the borreguiles of the swampy areas such as the one we are dealing with.
