Niches

Niches are arch-shaped holes that are usually left in the thickness of the wall and in which some element can be placed. In this case, they have a religious character, so figures, paintings or symbols of different saints are placed in them.

Lanjarón is the town of niches par excellence, which is why it has 41 niches, all of them different, all of them have been organized around “the Route of the Niches” that allows you to discover them by entering the streets of the town.
